Found in eastern Madagascar in humid forrests at elevations around 1000 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with no stem and 7 to 10, thin and gradually attenuate towards the base, lanceolate-linear, leaves and blooms from below the leaves on numerous, erect, 1 1/4" [3.5 cm] long, usually single flowered imflorescence with small, transparent flowers occuring in the summer through fall
