Flower Size 1 to 1 1/4" [2.5 to 3.1 cm]
Found in the eastern Himalayas, Myanamar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam occuring in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests at elevations of sealevel to 700 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to hot growing, monopodial epiphyte that has an erect stem carrying oblong-ligulate, rigid, thick, coriaceous, somewhat glaucous on top, streaked dark green with red beneath leaves and blooms on a 20" [50 cm] long, lossely or densly flowered, pendant inflorescence with a few to many [30] fragrant, waxy flowers occuring in the spring and summer.
