Common Name The Lax Agrostophyllum

Found in Java, Sumatra and Borneo in hill forests at elevations of 700 to 1700 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very compressed, elongate stems carrying many, larger in the apical half, obtuse apically leaves that blooms in the summer on 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence held in a globe.

CAUTION The Orchid in the photo is atypical as it has only 2 flowers. The norm is a group of 5 to 6 flowered inflorescence held in a globe shape that is about 1.6" [4 cm] in diameter.
