Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, the Moluccas and Sulawesi in lowlands and lower montane forests forests at elevations of sealevel to 1100 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] between each leaf bearing stem carrying strap-shaped to narrowly oblong, minutely bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, globose head made up of 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence

CAUTION Although this photo matches most of the references fairly closely it has only 2 flowers and normally this speceis has a head of a few inflorescence each with 3 to 4 flowers so this one is atypical.
