Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on trees in mossy montane forests at elevations around 1300 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with slightly compressed stems carrying lax, erect-patent, linear, setaceous-bicuspidate apically, glabropus leaves that blooms in the fall on 2 to 5, single flowered inflorescence
