Common Name The Single Flowered Agrostophyllum

Found in New Guinea in shady montane forests at elevations of 850 to 2800 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with many, erect, slender, unbranched, slightly laterally compressed stems enveloped by tight clasping leaf sheaths and carrying suberect, distichous,narrowly linear, unequally tricuspidate leaves with a terminal, short inflorescence carrying a single flowered inflorescence.
