Common Name Sanson's Anathallis [Brazilian Discoverer of species current]

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil at elevations between 500 and 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, cylindric ramicauls enveloped by 4, membraneous, infundibuliform, acute, imbricating sheaths and carrying an erect, fleshy, narrowly elliptical-ovate, rounded and shortly recurved, conduplicate below into the base leaf that blooms on up to 5, peduncle .28" [7 mm] long, rachis fractiflex, successively single, 7 flowered inflorescence

This species would be better placed in Pleurothallis within my framework of the Orchidaceae but as yet it has not been described as such.
