Found in Northern Madagascar on lichen covered trees at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem with flattened, somtimes verrucose roots and carrying greyish green, stiff, leathery, ligulate, unequally bilobed apically, basally overl;appijng leaves that blooms in the later spring on an axillary, .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescnece enveloped by 2 to 3, slightly flattened sheaths.
