Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found only in eastern Cape Province of South Africa in well drained soils in open, short scrublands at elevations of 90 to 1000 meters as a fairly robust, to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 6 to numerous, lanceolate leaves that blooms on a rather stout, somewhat flexuous, densely many flowered, to 18" [45 cm] long inflorescence arising in the spring in South Africa.
