Found in Java in moist forests on tree trunks, rocks and damp banks at elevations of 800 to 1000 meteres as a hot to warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, creeping, basally rooting, freely branching at mid stems carrying 10, apiculate, smaller on side branches, basally twisted, all in one plane leaves that are held at a 45 degree angle to the stem that blooms in the summer on a terminal and lateral, successively single flowered inflorecence
