Common Name or Meaning The Celebes Arachnis [former name for Sulawesi]

Found in Sulawesi in montane hill forest hanging down from tree crowns or scrambling over limestone rocks at elevations of 300 to 1200 meters as a lareg to giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an elongate, seldom branching stem in shde and a shorter frequently branching stem in full sun that blooms in the winter on an axillary, short, erect inflorescence with 3 to 5 fleshy flowers

This species is very similar to if not the same as A longicaulis from the Philippines and New Guinea if so then A celebica takes precedence.
