Found in Minas Gerias Brazil as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect leafy stem carrying ellitpcial, acute, gradulaly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, 4"[10 cm] long, densely many flowered, conical inflorescence with broadly lanceolate, acute as long as the flower floral bracts
