Found in southern Brazil as well as Paraguay as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect leafy stem carrying lanceolate, acute, dark green, centrally white striped, basally clasping leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, 8" [20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with the flowers held towards the apex
