Common Name The Rectangular Bulbed Bifrenaria

Found in the coastal Atlantic forest, in the southeast area of Brazil in montane rainforests at elevations of 300 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing lithophyte in open spaces, usually on rocks with ovoid, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, plicate, fleshy, narrowly elliptic leaf and blooms on a short, racemose few [3 to 4] flowered inflorescence arising on a newly matured pseudobulb and carrying fragrant [unpleasant] waxy, long-lasting flowers occuring in the summer in Brazil.
