Common Name The Striped Bletilla Albino Variety

Flower Size 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm]

This species is found in Japan, China and Okinawa, as a medium sized warm to cold growing terrestrial with subterranean rounded and compressed psuedobulbs with an erect stem that bears several oblong-lanceolate, plicate flexible leaves and a lax, terminal, 2' [60 cm] long inflorescence arising with a new pseudobulb that has several [to 12], fragrant, somewhat nodding flowers that open in succession in the late spring and summer and requires a winter rest.
