Common Name Hirtz's Bollea [Ecuadorian Orchid Collector current]

Flower Size 3 1/4" [8 cm]

Found in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in wet montane forests at sealevel to 1500 meters with a fan of plicate, obovate, acute to obtuse, becoming conduplicate towards the base leaves that blooms in the summer on a shorter than the leaves, ascending, sheathed stalk with a solitary flower.
