Common Name or Meaning The Eria-Like Bryobium The Brittle Urchin Orchid

Found in New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Queensland Australia at e3levations of 20 to 1000 meters on rocks and trunks of trees often close to streams as a small to just medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1 to 2 cm between each cylindrical pseudobulb carrying 2 apical, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acute to subacute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a racemose, erect, 10 to 20 flowered, 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] long inflorescence.
