Found in the Philippines on the island of Negros on mossy tree trunks at elevations of 600 to 1300 meters as a creeping, miniature to just small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with long, creeping, sheathed rhizome giving rise to 2 to 3.6" [5 to 9 cm] apart, tapering, cylindrical pseudobulbs envelopd by loose, acute, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-elliptic, acute, leathery, purple striate, gradually narrowing below into the slender, channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, single flowered inflorescence.
