Found in east northeastern Madagascar in humid highland and or lichen rich forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid-conical pseduobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, leaf that blooms in the late spring on an arching to pendant few flowered inflorescence
