Found in Madagascar in tree tops at elevations around 400 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a thick rhizome carrying distant, oval0oblong pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, subcoriaceous, narrowly ligulate to oblanceolate, obtuse apically leaf that blooms in the summer on a to 2 1/8" [5.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence that is recurved apically.
