Common Name or Meaning The Golden Flowered Bulbophyllum

Flower Size

Found in east northeastern Madagascar in humid lowland evergreen forests at elevations of 400 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblanceolate leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an erect, as long as the leaves, 2.4 to 5.6" [6 to 14 cm] long, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
