Found in Hong Kong on rocks and cliffs along streams at elevations of 100 to 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing lithophyte with ovoid, slightly sulcate psuedobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrrowing bewlow into the petiolate base leaf that and blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, 1.6" [4 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence holding the flowers towards the apex in an umbrel.
