Common Name Bittner's Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 2" Long [5 cm]

This small sized, hot growing species is only from Thailand and has a woody rhizome with well spaced, garlic-like pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate leaf that blooms in the spring to early summer, arising from the base of the newest formed pseudobulb with a sheathed, thick, [3+] , 4" [10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence that has an apical cluster of flowers held at mid-leaf height.
