Found in Borneo in montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1650 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome and .2 to .4" [.5 to 1 cm] between each ovoid, not, to hardly flattened, yellowish to olive green pseudobulb carrying a single, medium to dark green, rather thin, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, basal, 2 to 3.2" [5 to 8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular floral bract.
