Found in Assam, Thailand and Burma as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with closely spaced, conical pseudobulbs enveloped basally by long stiff hairs, carrying a single apical, linear, acute leaf and blooms on a single flowered, 3 3/5" [9 cm] long inflorescence. This species has the smallest flowers of the SECTION Sestochilus.
