Common Name The Caruncule Bulbophyllum [refers to the outgrowths at the base of the labellum]

Flower Size 3 1/2" [9 cm]

Found in the Philippines as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, distinctly petiolate, ellipotic to obtuse leaf that requires light shade and a large pot or mount with a fast draining medium to bloom on an erect, 18" [45 cm] long, successively many [12] flowering inflorescence with several tubular bracts and scented [not good] flowers occuring in the summer.
