Common Name The Ear-Like Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1/4" [1 cm]

Found in Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Gabon, Rwanda, Zaire, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia at elevations around 900 to 2200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome and 1 to 1 1/2" apart, cylindrical, tapering slightly from base, yellow green with purple spotted pseudobulbs enveloped basally by sheaths carrying 2 apical, leathery, suberect, linear, apically rounded, leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on an 8" [20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with bracts and flowers in two rows all facing the same direction
