Found in Yunnan China, Vietnam and Thailand on tree trunks or rocks in sparse woods at elevations of 1100 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with clustered, elongate-elliptic to ovate, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, narrowly elliptic, obtuse leaves that blooms in the late spring through early fall on many, very short several flowered inflorescence held very close to the pseudobulb base.
