Common Name Cribb's Bulbophyllum [English Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in eastern Brazil at elevations of 1200 to 1600 meters as a cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with conical to ovoid, rugose, pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, acute, basally clasping leaf that blooms in the late fall through late spring on a basal, erect, wirey, 6" [15 cm] long, few to several [to 10] flowered inflorescence with the successively opening flowers held towards the apex and has 2, linear, acute bracts.
