This is a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte that occurs in Burma, the Malay pennisula and the Philippines at elevations around 500 meters on tree trunks with paper covered, ovate, fleshy pseudobulbs and a single, apical, leathery, oblong to elliptic leaf that blooms in the fall on a 5 1/2" [14 cm] long, slender, pendant, lax raceme with 4 equally spaced bracts and carrying several [20], foul smelling flowers.
