Flower Size less than 1/4" [less than 5 mm]

Found in Papua and New Guinea and Irian Jaya on smooth-barked tree trunks occuring in seasonally flooded swamp forests at sea level as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a scrambling, pendent rhizome with .18 to .34" [4.5 to 8.5 mm] between each, elongated, subterete, basal part long adnate to the rhizome, upper part appressed to the rhizome pseudobulbs that blooms in the late fall on a basal, 2" long, single flowered, greenish white inflorescence that holds the nonresupinate, short-lived, diurnal, delicate flower against the base of the pseudobulb.
