Found in Sulawesi as an understory epiphyte in mossy montane forest at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .2" to .25" [.05 to 0.8 cm] between each obliquely erect, ovoid pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, elliptic to ovate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a patent, .25" [ 0.9 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
