Common Name The Dschischungari Bulbophyllum [A town in Waria District of New Guinea]

Flower Size

Found only in New Guinea in range forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with narrowly ovoid-conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, ligualte, minutely apiculate, attenuate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later fall on an erect, few bracted, .52 to .72" [1.3 to 1.8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with very small, many times shorter than the slender pedicel floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the sepals are of equal length and the flower color is reddish white.
