Common Name The Bulbless Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 3/8" [1 cm]
Found only in India at elevations around 500 meters as a unifoliate epiphyte with no obvious pseudobulbs and has 3" between each leaf that arises from the rhizome that blooms in the spring on an erect, basal, 7" [17.5 cm] long, many flowered, racemose inflorescence holding the flowers below the leaf. Best given hot temperatures, high humidity, partial shade and good air circulation. This specis and B apodum are said to be conspecific by Goaverts of Kew but I have kept them separate at this time as further references are not available.
