Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Thailand, Vietnam and Borneo in open mossy forests at elevations aroud 1300 to 1800 meters as a creeping, miniature sized, warm growing epiphtye or occsaional lithophyte with up to 1" [2.5 cm] between each, thin, cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, repent, elliptic leaves and blooms in the fall on a wiry, erect, 2 flowered inflorescence
