Found in Borneo and Malaysia as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with conical, rugose pseudobulbs 1 3/4 to 2" apart [4 to 5 cm] carrying a single apical, widest above the middle, shortly acute apically, narrowing basally into a 1" petiole leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, short to 2 3/4" [7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a large flower.
