Common Name Korthals' Bulbophyllum [Dutch Botanist Late 1800's]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm] wide

Found in Sumatra, Sabah And Sarawak Borneo at elevations around 200 to 950 [2100] meters as a small sized, hot [cold] growing epiphyte with close set, very small, cylindrical pseudobulbs enveloped by sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, lanceoalte-ligulate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect to arching, 6.4" [16 cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the flowers floral bracts and has non-resupinate flowers.
