A miniature sized, Indian, Burman, Thai and Malaysian species with cylindro-ovate psuedobulbs with a single, apical, oblong-obovate leaf that blooms in the fall with solitary flowers, or a few in umbels on shorter, slender inflorescence that arises from a mature psuedobulb and has the fragrant flower scented of strawberrys held just below or above the leaves. This species is maintained best in a wood basket with a free draining medium, given partial shade and air movement, and grown in hot temperatures with frequent water and fertilizer.
