Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with tapering pseudpbulbs carrying a single, apical, erct, ovate, leathery, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, to 12" [30 cm] long, to 50 flowered inflorescence
