Found in Myanamar, Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping and branching rhizome with 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] between each, shortly conical, appearing squashed, round from above pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, wiry, brownish violet, 9.2" [23 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, purple floral bracts
