Common Name The Large Column Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1/5" [5 mm]

This species is an epiphyte from Vietnam and Thailand at elevations of 500 to 1400 meters and has 1 1/8" to 2 1/4" [3 to 6 cm] spacing between each, conical pseudobulb carrying a thick, single, apical, minutely retuse apically leaf that is minutely retuse at the apex, all on a stout rhizome which blooms on a basal, erect to lateral, to 9 1/2" [to 24 cm] long, densely flowered, racemose inflorescence enveloped basally by 4 to 5 sheaths and carries many flowers occurong in the late winter.
