Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] between each cylindrical, swollen basally psueobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, acuminate leaf that blooms in the fall on a very short, single flowered inflorescence.
