Common Name The Mount Makiling Bulbophyllum [A mountain in Luzon Philippines]

Found only in the Philippines at elevations of 1000 meters in montane forests on bases of small trees and shrubs as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with close set, conical, smooth or grooved pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, elliptic, obtuse, grooved above, keeled below leaf witha vert short petiole and blooms on 3 to 8, erect, basal, thread-like, 1.2" to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with funnel shaped bracts and arising in the spring.
