Flower Size 1 1/8" [3 cm]

Found in Borneo in open montane mixed forests on bark and moss cushions at elevations of 1300 to 3400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to 1/8" to 5/8" between each ovoid to ellipsoid, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, rather thick, elliptic, petiolate leaf that blooms in the spring through fall on a basal, lateral to arching, 1 1/4 to 4" [3 to 8 cm] long, singl;e flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts and an unscented flower that does not open very well
