Common Name The Brick-Red Brush Bulbophyllum

Found in Yunnan province of China, Myanmar and Thailand at elevations around 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with globular, somewhat irregularly flattened with age, closely spaced pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, deciduous, greyish green, waxy, lanceolate, basally loosely conduplicate leaves that fall before blooming in the spring on a basal, 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely, several to many [10 to 15] flowered inflorescence.
