TO
Common Name The Nilgiri Mountain Bulbophyllum [Mountain chain in North India]
Flower Size
Found in Nilgiri India at elevations of 1300 to 1700 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring a 4" [10 cm] long, inflorescence
I am not sure of this determination! Does not match Seidenfaden 1959 - not lax enough inflorescence, but flowers are close. Does not match Pearce and Cribb 2002 as it is close to vaginatum, not even close. Does match exactly to Orchid Digest Vol 44 No 4 1980.
The photos may actually be Bulbophyllum kaitiense but I need better references, if this is so then the Name B nilgherrense Wight 1851 = B caudatum.
