Found in penninsular Malaysia in montane forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .8 to 2.4" [2 to 6 cm] between each distant ovaoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical erect, elliptic, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle 7.6 to 18.4" [19 to 46 cm], provided with c. 6 bracts, rhachis not thickened. 2.6 to 4.8" [6.5 to 12 cm] long, glabrous, elongated, rather dense, successivley few, 40 to 60 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
