Found in New Guinea in forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with subglobose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-ligulate, minutely apiculate, obtuse leaf that blooms on a short [3/4"] [2 cm], filiform, single flowered inflorescence in the spring and summer.
