Common Name The Onive Bulbophyllum [A river of Madagascar]

Flower Size 1/8" [6.2mm]

Found only in central eastern Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with 1/2" between each, orbicular, depressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, petiolate leaf that blooms in the summer and agai in the winter on a 1" [2.5 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with 3 to 4 acute, sheaths.
