Common Name The Bristly Bulbophyllum - In China Guan Guan Juan Ban Lan

Found in Taiwan in forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1500 to 2400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set to .4" [1 cm] between each ovoid to narrowly cylindric pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to oblong elliptic, thickly leathery, obtuse, retuse, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, green, [14 to 16 cm] long, 12 to 16 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate floral bracts and requires moderate shade and good air circulation.
